Images from The "Emergence", an MFA exhibit at the John Sommers Gallery, University of New Mexico features the pottery of Clarence Cruz, Tewa, from the Pueblo of San Juan/Ohkay Owingeh and a graduate of the University of New Mexico, with a BFA in Art Studio. His works consists of traditional pottery of San Juan and Micaceous pottery. Through his continued education he has had the honor to instruct graduate and undergraduate level pottery classes at the University of New Mexico from 1999 to present for the fall semesters.

Fritz was involved in, and placed at various shows and competitions. Since then, he has been showing his work throughout New Mexico. Enjoying his work and sharing his interpretations are his
main goal. Fritz feels that if the collector or buyer understands the beauty of the piece, then that is an accomplishment.

Kenna was born and raised in California and now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is a metalsmith who works with sterling silver, copper, brass, and bronze. She likes mixing metals to give her work color variation and depth. Kenna is of Yaqui, Tarascan, and Huichol decent.

Michele Tapia-Browning of the Pueblo of Pojoaque and Santa Clara Pueblos is continually engaged in the process of creating beautiful and unique images reflective of her Tewa ancestors. Her two role models are her mother, Lu Ann Tafoya and her grandmother, Margaret Tafoya from Santa Clara Pueblo.
