"As a member of the Navajo Nation of New Mexico, Fritz J. Casuse uses his minds eye view of the world, in which he was raised. The dances, family gatherings, market, and his own experiences are seen in the works of art that he creates. Multitalented, Fritz creates in two and three-dimensions. He utilizes the media of: acrylic, oil, photography, ceramic stoneware, stone/shell, and beadwork. Fritz enjoys using all media because they relate to each other and because when working with each one, ideas grow. His art is considered “contemporary”, yet respect and tradition are intermixed in all that he creates."
